When working with children my emphasis is on fun and age relevance. I always link my classes into a theme or a topic that is relevant to the age range.
I never ask children to do anything they don’t want to do and if all they want to do one week is to sit and take it all in then so be it, they are still learning and they pick up more than we realise.
I often ask the class for an idea for the following weeks session, its nice for them to be involved and it usually makes for an interesting session.
I like children to take part in the mini relaxation at the end but if they don’t feel able to lie down as they are feeling restless, I offer them some mindful colouring to do quietly and calmly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I book for a family session?
I offer family sessions occasionally during school holidays at Cawston Community Hall, Rugby or I can deliver a family session in the comfort of your own home. Click here to enquire.
What to wear/bring to a session?
Wear comfy clothes and bring along a yoga mat, blanket, pillow and a bottle of water. If you do not have a mat, I can loan a clean one of mine
Do I pay prior to a session?
Yes I always like payment prior to session start, if you are unable to attend I will always transfer to another date but I need at least 24 hours notice. I cannot offer refunds unfortunately as a lot of my time will be spent planning the session and creating session handouts and tools.
Can I stay with my child during a class?
Parents do not stay with children during a class but are expected to stay in the close area. In cases of high anxiety in the child I have allowed this, but I have to be mindful of the other children in the class so it maybe that you can wait outside the room.
Can my child try a session before I commit to a term?
Yes, I always want children to continue because they want to. All I ask is that you pay £7 for the class before you commit to the further 5 weeks.
